The 2010 NFHR Education Forum and Annual Meeting is being held on January 15 – 17, 2010, at the Dulles Crowne Plaza Hotel in Herndon, Virginia. The Education Forum on January 15th and 16th will feature several major presentation and discussions on topics important to the Fjord and horse communities. The NFHR Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. There also will be an open discussion period preceding the meeting from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The NFHR Annual Meeting is open to all NFHR members. While no charge is associated with the NFHR Annual Meeting, those planning to attend the meeting must pre-register.
Located just 5 miles from Dulles Airport and 25 miles outside of Washington, DC, the Dulles Crowne Plaza offers a variety of amenities for participants. The hotel is a business class hotel with an indoor swimming pool, free wi-fi, and in-room refrigerators. The rooms are spacious and are being offered at a group rate of $75 plus tax per night. The hotel offers FREE shuttle service to and from Dulles Airport. FREE covered parking is available to those driving to the hotel. This location is steps away from a variety of restaurants, shops, and movie theatres. The hotel also offers free transportation to the Smithsonian’s Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum.
